By engaging our services, you agree to the terms and conditions outlined on this page. These terms of service govern all repair work, including but not limited to dishwasher repair, dryer repair, refrigerator repair, washer repair, and microwave repair.

Non-Refundable Service Charge

When scheduling a service call, we charge a non-refundable fee for diagnostics, travel, and technician time. This fee will be disclosed before the time of service and is due upon completion of the repair service, whether or not you choose to proceed with the recommended repair work.

The service fee helps cover the cost of sending a skilled appliance service technician to your location, diagnosing the issue, and providing a solution. This fee is separate from any costs associated with parts and labor should you decide to proceed with the appliance repair.

Payment Terms and Collection Costs

Payment is due after service unless an alternate arrangement is agreed upon in writing. We accept the following payment methods:

• Cash
• Check
• Major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover)

Any returned check or declined payment will incur an additional $50 fee. If a balance remains unpaid after service completion, Puget Sound Appliance Tech reserves the right to pursue collection efforts, including legal fees, court costs, and applicable interest at the maximum rate allowed by law.

Customers are responsible for ensuring full payment at the time of service and for any costs associated with collection efforts.

Limited Warranty

Puget Sound Appliance Tech guarantees the quality of its repair services.

This warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship but does not cover:

• Improper use or installation of an appliance
• Pre-existing appliance issues unrelated to the service performed
• Repairs made using non-standard materials
• Damage caused by water supply issues, electrical junction boxes, or drainage requirements
• Component failures unrelated to the completed repair

If an issue arises within the warranty period, please contact us immediately for evaluation.

Limitation of Damages

While we take pride in providing high-quality appliance repair services, Puget Sound Appliance Tech shall not be held liable for:

• Consequential damages including food spoilage, lost business revenue, or personal inconvenience
• Property damage that may occur during service, including flooring, countertops, cabinetry, or water damage caused by pre-existing issues
• Damage resulting from improper appliance use or unrelated component failure

Our liability is strictly limited to the amount paid for the repair service.

Entire Agreement

By engaging our services, you acknowledge that these terms and conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and Puget Sound Appliance Tech and supersede any prior verbal or written agreements.

These terms govern all appliance repair services provided.

Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These terms of service are governed by the laws of the State of WA.

Any disputes arising from services performed shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with applicable regulatory requirements in greater Seattle-Tacoma County, WA.

If arbitration is not applicable, disputes will be resolved in a court of law located in WA.

Damage Waivers

Certain appliance repair services involve inherent risks. By requesting repair work, you acknowledge and accept the following damage waivers.

Waiver of Damages When Moving an Appliance

Moving major appliances may cause damage to flooring, cabinetry, countertops, or nearby structures. While technicians take reasonable precautions, Puget Sound Appliance Tech is not liable for damages incurred during appliance movement.

Waiver of Damages When Working with Water

Appliances connected to water supply lines may pose risks of leaks or water damage. Puget Sound Appliance Tech is not responsible for damage caused by water valves, supply connections, or component failures occurring after service completion.

Waiver of Damages from Failed Cooling Equipment

Refrigerators, freezers, and cooling systems contain complex components that may fail unexpectedly, even after repair. Puget Sound Appliance Tech is not liable for food spoilage, business losses, or other damages resulting from cooling equipment failure.

Waiver of Damages from Lifting a Glass Cooktop

Glass and ceramic cooktops may break when lifted for internal access. While technicians follow industry best practices, breakage cannot be guaranteed against. By proceeding, you accept full responsibility for any resulting damage.

Right to Modify Terms

Puget Sound Appliance Tech reserves the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time without prior notice.
